Epcot/Beaches and Cream/HS

Although I have asked this previously, I would like clarification please. Want to get it right! I have an ADR for beaches and cream 150pm on a day I have planned Epcot and HS. I have a full day planned at both earlier in the trip. Is this the best way to do it?

Park car at H'S
Take boat to Epcot
Tour Epcot
Take boat to yacht club
Have lunch
Take boat to HS
Tour H'S
Leave

Personally I'd walk instead of taking the boat from EPCOT to Beach Club and I'd walk to HS.

You should walk from Epcot to beaches and cream. Talking the boat will take considerably longer and will require almost as much walking.

I find the boats to be slow. Walking from Epcot is much quicker.

Walking from IG to YC is 1/4 mi. Walk from YC to DHS is a full mile.

So boat to YC is clearly not worth the wait for most folk. Boat to DHS is worth it if you want to conserve your energy.

You might also consider taking the bus to Epcot rather than the boat. On average, it will be about 15 minutes faster. The bus drops you at the front gate; the boat at the IG.

From EPCOT to Beaches & Cream, not only is the Boat slow, but the walk from the end of the boat dock is nearly as long! 0.3 mile from the ticket booth to the back door of Beach Club (walk inside from there to get the B&C). From the end of the BYC Boat dock is is still a 0.2 mile walk!

The walk to/from HS is quite long for tired people or kids, so most people don't want to add another 1+ mile walk. Take the boat if that's the case for you.

Hi. Just wanted to double check something. I am planning to park at Hollywood Studios then take the bus to Epcot. I am staying off site - am I still able to use the bus?

We would want to be at the front of the park to tour future world. But we need to leave via international gateway to walk to Yachtclub/beaches and cream later in the day.

Yes, take the bus from HS. That way you won't be backtracking. If you boat from DHS, you'll enter via the IG, which means you'll have to walk across the park to get to the front, and Spaceship Earth, then walk all the way back across to get to BC.
So, park at DHS, bus to Epcot, walk to BC via IG, walk or boat back to HS.
