EPCOT... are you allowed...???

Are you allowed to walk from the bridge where you enter Paris to the Boardwalk and even along to the ice cream parlour at the Beach and Yacht Resort even if you are not staying there?

My son is one of those press coin collectors and knows there are some in there....

You certainly are.

Have a walk round the Boardwalk and visit the resorts there. It's a fun thing to do, especially at night when they have entertainment in front of the Boardwalk resort.

Most definately!!!

The only thing you can't do is use the large pool area (stormalong bay) which is for Yacht & Beach club resort guests but you can enjoy the resorts & restaurants etc.

We love this area (we usually stay at the Beach Club Villas.) We really enjoy getting an ice cream from beaches and cream then sitting on a rocking chair in front of the yacht or beach club and just having a relax! We aren't staying at the BCV next trip next month but we will still be getting and ice cream and relaxing on a rocking chair for a while!

Beaches in Cream, although really great, is walk in only (ie you cannot make reservations). It also gets extremely busy so be prepared to wait.

As said it is great, and if you are passing by then the food is above average and the ice creams are nice, but I wouldn't advise you make a special journey - especially if its going to eat into your Epcot Touring.

Boardwalk at night is nice too - but again, only if you are that way anyway. In my opionion neither Boardwalk or Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club are worth special journeys, but a great thing to do if you happen to be in that part of the resort.

We have been known to dive out of EPCOT mid afternoon in the Spring to watch Liverpool FC European games on the screens at the ESPN Bar on the Boardwalk. Great atmosphere with lots of Brits enjoying (very vocally) the match and curious Americans asking questions about the rules and the teams.

Then back to the parks...either through the International Gateway into EPCOT or take the boat from the Boardwalk down to the Studios for the evening.

We love checking out all the resorts and areas as part of our trip. By checking them out (and very often eating in the resorts) you can kind of get the idea of which ones you'd like to stay at.

Of course you can just make sure you get your hands stamped for re-entry when you walk back and keep your park tickets on you. Have a fun time collecting those pressed coins and watch out for some Hidden Mickey's too
