Epcot Anniversary

I just noticed that Epcot’s anniversary is October 1. We are flying into Orlando on October 2 and had Epcot on the schedule for the next day October 3. Does anyone know if they will still be having something for the anniversary then or just that same day? Disneyland does months to celebrate their anniversary and was just wondering if it’s the same with Epcot in that way or is just a day thing and we end up missing out by 48 hours. Anyone know?
