Epcot and Hollywood Dining

We are going to the World in Sept and we are looking for suggestions on dinner at Epcot and Hollywood.. last year we did Coral Reef and Hollywood & Vine. We were definitely not impressed by the food at Hollywood & Vine!! We are plannig on doing the fantasmic dining package so I am not sure what restaurants are included in that deal!! As for Epcot we are open to suggestions.. I had sad Askerhus (sp?) but I wasn't sure if this was a good option?! We just want to make sure our munchkins enjoy where ever we go!! Thanks for the suggestions

Your other Fantasmic options will be the Hollywood Brown Derby and Mama Melrose. For the kiddos, I'd opt for Mama Melrose.

At Epcot, the kids might enjoy the Teppan Edo in Japan (but if you have teppanyaki places locally, it's not gonna be that much more different.) Biergarten is a lot of fun - both our kids enjoy it now and enjoyed it when they were younger. Your DD would enjoy Akershus. There are kids all over Coral Reef - the dining "under the sea" is a huge plus.

For HS there is not much of a choice for TS there is 50's Prime Time which I myself didn't care for the service here , they have great home cooked food which may appeal or not appeal to you . There is Hollywood Brown Derby which we have never ate at seems to be more on the fancier side of things , Then there's SCI-FI Dine -In Theater which they kids really seem to enjoy. You had said about Fantasmic , I'm pretty sure the only restaurant that offers pre-seating to the show besides Hollywood & Vine is Mama Melrose which we have never ate at cause we are big fans of Hollywood & Vine .

At Epcot I would def go with Akershus your kids will really enjoy it , our preference here is breakfast but we really like simple foods so it works well for us . Other than that we have never ate at any other Epcot TS . Here is some I considered though and we have 3 kids ages 2,3 and 5 . Biergarten,Le Cellier Steakhouse,Rose& Crown Pub and Dinning Room,San Angel Inn, and Teppan Edo .

As a Previous Poster said, your only choices for the Fantasmic dining plan are H & V, Mama Melrose and Hollywood Brown Derby (2 TS Credits). The other restaurants mentioned above do not participate. I personally will never return to H & V. Our experience there was awful.
We love the International restaurants in Epcot. We particularly enjoy Teppan Edo where the chef cooks your meal in front of you at the Teppan table., the Restaurant Marrakkesh in MOrroco, the Belly Dancer is fun to watch and she invites the little ones up to join her at the end, the Rose& Crown, and this year we are going back to Biergarten. It gets great reviews here and we are looking forward to it.
