Hello! We are going to Disney for the first time at Christmas time! We are very excited. We only plan on being at Epcot for one day Monday the 14th. (YES I know the title says the 15th, it won't let me change the title) We really want to make sure we catch the Candlelight Procession, but we are not booking a dinner package because we are a family of 6, (2 kids that count as adults) and we just can't swing the extra money for a sit down meal like that.

So, I need to be prepared. Is it impossible to get a seat for one of the shows without having a reserved seat? I read somewhere that the line to sit down starts before the first show ends. If that's the case then are you watching the first show while standing in line? Just trying to figure out how it all works, and the best way to do it so I can prepare everyone. I have one child that gets overwhelmed easy if she doesn't know what to expect ahead of time!

And one more question, does the Christmas world showcase continue after dark or is that something that only goes on during the daytime hours like the Character meet and greets there?

Thanks!

Last year, they tested giving out "tickets" to that evening's shows to guests who showed up to the American Gardens Theater around 1PM.

No way to know if they will be doing that until they start running the CP shows this year.

Check back to these boards starting Friday, the day after Thanksgiving and look every day for reports of
what is happening in regard to CP shows.

Just to mention, there is no Monday, December 15, 2015. Also, in your post, you said it would be Monday, December 14th. The 15th is a Tuesday, the 14th a Monday. It might help with knowing who the narrator will be and how crowded it will be so the date, at this time can be important since the 15th is a TBA.

That was a typo! It won't let me edit the title of the post. We will be there on Monday December 14th. Meredith Viera is the host.

I would expect Meredith to be popular, so standing in line may or may not mean you get in. You can hear pretty well from the outside tables across the way at Liberty Inn. Grab dinner and sit outside to enjoy the show. You won't be able to see much, but you can also stand in the back to see if you want.

Thank you. I will also be checking in ahead of time to see what everyone's experiences are!
