Hi,
We arrived at WDW yesterday
. After settling into our room at POR and taking a nap (we were up at 4am) we headed over to EC for the evening.
We arrived about 4:30pm. We drove over to the self parking lot accross from the BW and parked there and then entered through the IG. We headed over to ride Figment (my way to start our trip is to go visit Figment
). We actually came to a stop in the line, have not had that happen in a long time. The wait was less than 5mins though. It just highlighted that there were many many young children around. We have traveled to WDW in Sept many times before and young children are always plentiful but they just seem to be more of them this year. Not a negative just an observation. Disney's promotions must be working.
From Figment we went over to the Land Pavillion. It was around 5:15pm and we were able to get FPs for a return time of 6:18pm. Not bad. I was thinking they would be gone for the night. We headed over to Living with the Land and we were able to ride as a walk on. This was the first time riding since they have gotten rid of the CM doing the commentary in the greenhouse section of the ride. It is a different experiance but I think it will now be a more consistant experiance. That was my only issue with this ride was that if you got a not so good CM the experiance was much different then if you got an exceptional CM.
We decided to go over to Mission Space and try out the new green version of the ride and let me tell you a big thumbs up for this new version.
. We were able to walk right into the preshow on the green side. The orange side had a wait of about 10mins. I had ridden the original version of this ride twice and both times while I did not become physically ill I felt "off" for the rest of the day and I did not enjoy the ride I was more just waiting for it to end. The green version was completely different for me. I was able to enjoy the ride and this is now a must do for me. Big thumbs up on giving people a choice on this one.
We headed over to Test Track next and we were able to walk into the preshow using the single riders line. My husband and I do not mind being split up for this ride. It was a good ride as usual.
We were done with TT about 6:10pm or so and I wanted to head back to the Land to use our FPs for Sorin' before heading over to Aldredo's for dinner but my husband wanted to just "stroll" to dinner and skip Sorin' for now, so that is what we did.
Everything else after this point was food related so I am going to post those details on the correct board.
We are heading out to the Studios this morning and then off to the MK and EMH this evening.
Please post any questions you may have and I will try to answer them when we come back for pool and nap time this afternoon.
