we are going spring break week in March. We have a party of 5, we got a FP for Soarin and plan to go to Test Track first. Is this a good plan?
Any other tips? We plan on heading to AK in afternoon

There is so much to do at Epcot and it is so big. I can't imagine doing much in half a day. It is usually a 2 day park for us. Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios are generally 1/2 day parks for us.

It really depends on what you are trying to accomplish at Epcot. As was said above, it's a huge park with tons to do. So if you're just looking for the highlight reel then your plan will work. I don't think it particularly matters, but I would reverse it and get the FP for TT and ride Soarin standby. Adding the third theater has increased the capacity by 50% and the standby line will build much quicker at TT than it will at Soarin.

This also means that you won't be experiencing Frozen Ever After, am I correct in this assumption? Because that changes everything. :)

To do Epcot properly you need a day or two. If your goal is to just hit a few rides and forgo seeing the countries - then you could do a 1/2 day there.

I agree with comments above. If you only have time for a half day it is enough to ride those 2 main attractions and look around future world a bit. I would FP TT and rope drop Soarin if you can get that FP because TT does usually have a longer wait. If not, your plans will work well too. TT has a single rider line as a backup if your group is all old enough to split up and doesn't mind skipping the design studio (it is a good distraction while waiting though I would prefer to just get on the ride). If you have never been to Epcot the world showcase is really worth a visit sounds like you must have park hoppers so hop back over one night if you get the chance. So many great restaurants to try as well.

I am the opposite of everyone who has responded so far, my family is not big fans of Epcot and we always make it a half day park.
In the past, we have gone right at RD and get done the only 3 things we enjoy there.... Soarin, TT and the kids like the Nemo ride and aquarium, then we head over on the monorail to MK for the rest of the day. This year we will head to Frozen Ever After first, Soarin and I'll take the little one to Nemo while my husband and older DD go to the single rider line for TT.

we actually do 2 epcot days. Day 1 we go through world showcase and head back to the resort, day 2 we do an early ADR at Garden Grill, to the future world section of Epcot and head back to the resort.....it takes more than half the day each time but we are not there from opening to close, hope this helps

We are not huge fans of Epcot at this point. My husband and I would like it more if our kids were older and they could appreciate the countries more. They are mostly only into attractions and characters. With that said, we still spend a full day there. This is enough to be able to ride everything, meet a few characters, spend a little time in the countries and see illuminations.

We have been to DW several times and this is their least favorite park...really only need to do a few things there. I will try to see if I can switch TT and Soarin. I want to do Frozen, no one else cares about it. I was thinking we would there at rope drop. I hear it's broken a lot though...

Can't change to TT (until later then we wanted in afternoon, so will just have to wait in line. We also got a FP for MIssion Space.

Should we rush to TT (since that's what most of my family cares about)--or go to Frozen and hope it's working??? DO lines get super long if we go to Frozen at rope drop then head to TT, then do our FP at Soarin, then to FP at Mission Space, Lunch and head out??? They do not care about looking at the countries and we have done everything there in the past....maybe the NEMO ride?? Kids are 9. 12. and 14.
