I was there in Feb and i would like to know why did they not do the EP at night

And where do they do the parade now

The DEP is only run seasonally. They run it during peak times - Spring Break through Labor Day (some parts of that are weekends only), and Christmas peak (approx Dec 15-Jan 5).

It is currently showing in DCA and runs from the Pier area toward Sunshine Plaza.

What time does the EP start? I'm going in August, and I want to make a reservation at the Wine Country Trattoria and ask for the patio so that I can watch the parade while I eat.

Thanks! Do you think 8:15 would be the best time to make for priority seating? Or should it be later or earlier?

Since the park closes at 9:00 p.m., I'm not sure what time they will allow the latest reservations. I would call and check. The parade will still be going on when the park is officially closed.
