EP to Poly?

I'm just throwing around ideas about watching Holiday Wishes from the Poly beach. We won't be going to the actual MVMCP this trip, but wanted to see if we could catch the Holiday Wishes from the Poly beach. The original plan is to go to MK on a party day and leave mid-afternoon, then hop to EP. We're going the week before Thanksgiving. If, say, Illuminations is at 9:00pm and Holiday Wishes is at 10pm, would we be able to watch that then get to the Poly beach in time for Holiday Wishes?

Your biggest issue will be everyone else leaving Epcot the same time as you, after Illuminations, and thus long lines at the monorail. You might make it to the TTC in time to watch the MK fireworks from the ferry landing area.

Possible, but not a ton of room for error. You'll want to be towards the Future World side of World Showcase so you can skedadle quickly. You may want to take a cab if the monorail platform looks unusually busy or you just saw one pull away.

You could watch the Illuminations from the UK/France Side near International Gateway, walk to Beach Club and get a cab/uber straight to Poly's GCH with enough time to grab a cocktail at Trader Sam's for the MVMCP fireworks.

Yes, this is exactly what I would do. See Illuminations from UK/France, head out IG to BC, get an uber (make sure you call it when you get to the BC lobby otherwise the driver may get confused regarding location - that happened to us when we called one from our BC room!). You should be walking into Poly by about 9:45 pm.
