I know most won't care but we like it and it is a great place to cool off in July.
We will actually will be there on the 19th and looking forward to seeing it again.

I was hoping this would have gotten a redo all together with something new. Guess I will have to keep waiting.

As much as I love EO, it is well past time for them to do something new in that pavilion. Figment needs a complete reworking, EO needs to be replaced with something new, hopefully something that fits the imagination theme better, and continues to tell the story that the ride starts. They are imagineers, this should be the best pavilion in EPCOT!

I know we are in the minority, but we are really happy that EO is coming back. Made my daughter's day when I told her.

Put this thing out of its misery already. Time to redo the whole Imagination pavilion anyway.
Yep. Why not just close it and post a "Closed while we are Reimagining this area" sign. They're good at that. ( The closing part).

We all love EO in our family, so I'm happy to hear it should be back for our September trip!

Ugh! Does anybody know if they will have re-mastered the audio and video and cleaned up the 3-D effects, (which are really more like 2.5-D effects)? Every time that I have seen this show, it has been a headache inducing disaster of muddy sound and blurry visuals. Perhaps that was state of the art in 1986. But it cannot pass for "good" in today's world. Not by a long shot.

As someone who lives in Kodak's home city of Rochester, NY I can assure you that it still exists, even if much smaller than it once was.

I don't believe there was ever an intention to fix up the film/audio during this down period.

Someone remind me (because I would not have noticed or cared to read anything related to EO when it closed). What was the stated reason for the closure?

They've been using the theater for movie previews.

NO! Are you kidding me Disney? This news stinks! I would rather use the other "S" word. Is this the best Disney can do? I just wish EPCOT would get the same respect that MK gets. This urks the hell out of me! This attraction has more lives than MJ did!

Sorry, I heard they went bankrupt, looks like they are just in Commercial business products now. In any case, they are no longer the sponsor of the Imagination Pavillion. Disney only seems to want someone else to pay for upgrades.
