We have an ADR for this in a couple weeks. Has anyone experienced it? How about the restaurant in general? Being from the Chicago area we have excellent Italian options and I’d rather do something else if this is lackluster. Thanks.

There was a review on allears.net. The author seemed to really enjoy her meal there.

Looks so good I just added this ADR for Sunday and dropped its neighbor the Edison, which I’ll head to on Monday. So for a solo diner do they seat you with a random group and share off their family dining style plates?

What do they do for solo diners? Sit you at your own table or at the bar? Put you at a table with strangers and have you share?

And on a side note, can a guest be seated and not order or is it treated like a buffet that all seated guests must pay? Have a teenager that won’t eat all of this but is too old for a kids menu.

To answer my own question, this special meal is not available for a solo diner.

I made a reservation, called and asked and they said I could order it. When I showed up the hostess said she wasn’t sure but sat me anyway. Then the waiter came over and he too said he wasn’t sure, so he went and asked and came back to say no. To me it was a deal breaker so I was going to leave and eat some of that delicious looking stuff upstairs in Pizza Ponte, but the waiter said he’d go ask the manager. The manager said they don’t offer it for 1 but said he’d ask the chef. After all of that he came back and said they’d make an exception, and boy was I glad. It was an incredible meal, great for the price too considering Disney prices. I got everything on the menu but a solo serving which was still a lot of food. Very tasty and well prepared, so I would certainly recommend it to anybody on the fence. :teeth:

Good to hear you enjoyed the meal. We've an ADR for 11/18 which is our arrival day.
Now to find a wine shop so we can BYOB.
