Entrance question for Princess Epcot breakfast?

We have an 8:30 a.m. ressie for PSB and I would like to find out about entering from the World Showcase area. Do you have to stay at one of the Epcot hotels to get into that entrance or is it okay to park in one of those hotel parking lots since we have a meal reservation? We would stay for the rest of the day so I was not sure if it was ok to park in one of those areas.

It is my understanding that you cannot park in any of the resort lots unless you have a PS at that resort and even then you only get a 2 or 3 hour pass. In March, we rode the bus from POR to the front entrance of Epcot and walked back to the entrance to the WS where a CM checked to see that we had a breakfast PS. I believe another CM checked again a little further into the WS. We finished walking to Norway and had a great breakfast.

Someone else may be able to clarify the parking rules.

Oh, I didn't even realize that you could walk over to the World Showcase entrance. We were there for our honeymoon many years ago but we were on the monorail so I don't even remember the layout of the parking lot or entrances other then the cartoon map I have. The only reason I am thinking of this is because someone mentioned that they "might" let people in a few minutes earlier and I wanted to see if I could get dd in as "Princess of the Day" since it is her birthday.
