Entrance for 8:00 PS at Donald's

I am hoping some of you can help me. I thought I had read a post a month or so ago about someone having a hard time getting into AK for their 8:00 PS at Donald's, but I cannot find it doing a search. I am concerned because I called and changed ours to this time on 4/1. The lady kept telling me that the park would open at 9:00. That would be great, but I think she is wrong. This is the week after Easter and AK is open 8-8 M-T(3/31), so I cannot imagine them changing the opening time on Friday. So, if the park opens at 8:00, what time do I need to get there to get in on time? Will I have to push through the crowds to the gate?

I've had breakfast at Donald's at 8 when the park opened at 9, but I've never had breakfast there at 8 when the park opened at 8, so I can't give you any advice based on experience. But I do think that if you arrive early (maybe around 7:30) then find a CM and tell them you have a PS for 8, maybe they can help you get back to Donald's before the crush of people entering the park. I know that when we have PS's before park opening, people with PS's are taken on back by CM's. I don't know if they'd do the same thing if your PS is at the same time of park opening or not, but it would be worth a try.

Go to a CM near the entrance, and they should have a list of the PS's. They will allow you to enter once you are confirmed.

Yes..at AK, you go to the far left entrance. Castmembers will be waiting to take you to breakfast. There is usually a sign also.

If you are staying on disney property, I believe there are busses that run early enough to get you to the breakfast.

If the park really opens at 9:00, I hope you are staying on property. You will need to take the bus.

If you drive, you won't get through the toll booth until about 35 minutes before official park opening (at best).

We had a PS at DOnalds at 8am when park opened at 9am this summer. We were let in about 15 minutes prior to park opening. At every other park we were let right in when we arrived at about 7:30am, but AK did not let cars into the lot until about 7:45 am. If I was staying onsite I would just take the bus.

BTW, we made it to our PS on time with no problem, it was just a bit irritating to sit their while cars kept lining up. I usually like to be ther first.
