Hi there i have booked a night a Royal Pacific resort and it cost me alot more than some of the dis members here on the boards have apid . I believe that is due to most people getting the entertainment discount. My question is this I live in Scotland and have No way of getting my hands on a copy of the book, would any kind dis members be able to send me their card if they no longer need it or let me know how I can get one myself, would be much appreciated. If i could get the discount I could probably stay another night hence my question.

thanks in advance

I don't have one for you (or myself) but I know you can get them cheap right now at entertainment.com

I think the books (which come with the card) are $10 or less. I would get the orlando book if you can, then maybe use some of the coupons during your trip. HTH

Thanks for the response! I have actually tried the site before however they don't appear to send them out of the USA :( :(

Any other ideas?

thanks

Karon

When are you going? The current cards expire November 1. If you're going to check on the Entertainment rate check all 3 hotels. The discounted rooms tend to sell out in the RP first.

You might try to make the reservation first, if you get the rates repost and see if someone will send you their card. I just ordered the Orlando book and could probably mail you the card the end of Aug.

The Universal hotels generally do ask to see the card.

Hi there thanks for all the responses :)

I tried going back into the entertainment now site & low and behold managed to order a book for myself hopefully I should receive it in a week or two:)

I already have quite a good rate for the room $160 as I have the universal fan club card is the entertainment rates alot better than this?

Thanks for all your help

It depends on when you go and some luck too I suspect. We're going during a really busy time and I couldn't do any better even with the entertainment card.

I booked a room at the RPR for the end of September and got the entertainment rate ($119). It's the best I've seen in a long time! It all depends on when you are going. Good luck!

Its the end of September I have booked RPR for now I want to try & get the entertainment rate I think. That would be a saving of $100 over two nights.
