I didn't expect to get an Entertainment rate at Hojo, but last week some of my day's became available so now I need to get a card but I want to make sure I get the right one.

Is this the right card? http://www.entertainment.com/discount/home.shtml

Its not available in my state, so I can't buy it locally. I think I've heard people mention eBay, is it worth looking for a card there - I haven't used them for years.

I don't really need the book, since I can't use it at home, so I'm really only looking for the card.

TIA

That's the one. I bought my last card off of Ebay for $5. It was worth it. And even though they sell one for my state, I almost always forget to bring the coupons/book and don't have it when I need it. So I stopped buying the book too.

I have a card that you are welcome to. PM me with your address and I will send it to you.

(Slight hijack). I just spent $15 for the 2009 Entertainment card for my local area, in anticipation of our trip Nov 29 to Dec 3. The card just came, and it says it's only valid until November 1, 2009. What? It's supposed to be a 2009 card! Do I now have to spend another $40 for the 2010 version?

Lorealle, are you monitoring this thread? Will the 2009 card be acceptable for my post-Thanksgiving stay? Thanks.

Yes, somewhere in your research it should have said that the 2009 card expires in November. It's always like that. I heard back in June that they were trying to get the old stock out of the way and make way for the new books for 2010 to come in. That sucks for you Bob. Where did you buy the book from? Could you possibly exchange it for the 2010? If I were you, rather than pay another $40 for a 2010 book, I'd get one from Ebay. $5 and no worries. It'll be good through Nov. 2010. Just make sure that you are getting the 2010 card.
