I just bought a local Entertainment book (2004). I haven't had one for a few years and was pleasantly surprised at not just local discounts, but other discounts as well --
Example: $5 off Planet Hollywood (with purchase of $20+)
Busch Gardens, Sea World, Universal Studios, Orlando hotels (although I did not see S/D)
Airline coupons too. I don't know if they would come out to be a good deal. But nic eto have on hand if need as a last resort. :) (Several that are 15% off United economy RT)
The local book was only $20. You may want to check out yours! :)

Ah ha! S/D is under Preferred Partners Program. 50% off rack or 10% off the best promotional rate!

WOW!!!! The best S/D deal I know of is $99. 10%off makes that $89.!!

You hit the Jackpot!!

And get this -- Entertainment Rebate --
"Receive a rebate of up to $100 (U.S. funds) just for booking and staying in a lowest rate guaranteed program hotel!"
The rebate is $10 off 2 night stay
$20 rebate for 3 -4 nights
$30 rebate for 5, 6, 7 night stay
$50 rebate for 8 - 9 nights
$100 rebate for 10+ nights

Then it goes into the Preferred Partners Program with the extra 10%.
What -- no rebate?! ;) :jester:

Plus if I order another Entertainment book on-line (same or another city) I get free shipping and $5 off. :)

Have you actually tried booking at that rate? I'm finding that the majority of the hotels that are supposed to be 50% off are actually twice as much as what can be obtained via on-line hotel booking sites.. When I called about the Amerisuites - for example - the "Entertainment" rate was $104 a night - the same room on the hotel booking sites are going for $51 to $53 a night.. And several of us can not get any of the car rental coupons to work either.. I'm pretty disappointed with the Orlando book - I have seen much, much better E-books in the past..

I think there is still a link for a free trial of the Entertainment book on the MyPoints site under Earn Points, Try it Out...earn 10 points. I think it let me print out 3 online coupons.

So...
The teacher rate at the Dolphin is $129 and Swan $144 -- would the 10% discount be allowed with these rates??
TTFN!
