Hey all, time to order a new book--anyone find any great discounted book offers???

So far all I've seen is the free shipping/free $25 restaurant gift card...Has anyone ordered this and can say what the restaurant gift card is (I'm wondering if it's not just a $3-to-buy Restaurant.com certificate??) Last year I ordered mine through CashBaq who gives $6 back (as does Ebates).

I'm also looking for a better deal, the cost of the book in our city went up $10 this year, and if last year was any indication, the number of coupons is decreasing

I just got my book thru a rewards website and the deal was pts + free shipping + $25 Restaurant GC. The GC was from Restaurtant.com.

It looks like quite a few more coupons than last year. Plus you can print online coupons for any zip code once you register your book. The online coupons aren't the same as the ones in the book but they still have some good ones that I can use when I'm visiting family out of town.

I'm pretty certain all the previous books/years I've purchased were either $20 or $25 tops. This year the book is pricing at $35 -- but there is the gift cert to restaurant.com. I'd rather find the book more reasonable. Think I should wait, will the price drop next month???

I haven't bought mine yet, but isn't true that we can buy a $25 gift cert from restaurant.com for like $1 to $3, I meant it is not a good incentive, true?

I think there will be a new promotion on November 1st, since that is when all the 2009 coupons expire. I am hoping so!

Yea, I think I'm going to wait and see if anything better comes along. Like the earlier person posted....the restaurant.com gift cert isn't any great deal and the book is pretty high priced now...thanks all
