We have added on to our Disney vacation to give Universal a 2nd try. We went to US when they were building MIB it will be out first time at IOA. I was not able to get the Entert. rate for our dates Nov.28-Dec.2 so i was wondering if i had missed out already or if they just haven't released them yet. I also was wondering if the RPR has a food court or a gift shop that might sell snacks and drinks or do i have to get these on the citywalk. Does anyone know if we could get a better rate $146 for 3 night then $125 for the last night this is a standard room fanclub rate. Thanks for your help and i hope that we will enjoy the parks more this time around(we might have been theme parked out last time).

Hi mhelsley,

That's Thanksgiving weekend, so those dates may be blackout dates for Entertainment rates. We'll be at RPR from Nov. 29 - Dec. 4...maybe we'll run into each other!

I noticed on your countdown clock that you will also be staying at the BWV we will be staying there from Dec.9-15. When will you be at the BWV. Hope you enjoy your cruise i've been on both of the Disney ship and had a great time.

We'll be at BWV Dec. 7-13. I guess we may run into each other there too! Is BWV your home resort? This is our second Wonder cruise (Dec. 4-7); we also cruised last December. Where will you be in between your Universal/Disney stays?

Keep trying to get entertainment rate.I had the entertainment rate of $125 a night for 6 night during Easter. If you join fan club you might even get a free upgrade like we did. They have a gift shop,no food court.I would get my snacks on the way to the hotel. If you order kids, meals from the hotel restaurant to go ,it should cost between $3.75 to $4.50 and they are good size servings.

We are not DVC member we are renting so that we can try before buying to see if it's for us. I will say that if if we were to buy in it would most like be BWV or BCV. I'm waiting to see if Disney will release room codes for our time period. My plan A would be to go from the RPR to Royal Plaza(downtown disney)then AKL concierge level for 2 night then standard for 2 night then onward to the BWV. If the above doesn't work then i will come up with a plan B excluding Port Orleans Riverside(been there done that twice)and the Contemporary(just doesn't appeal to me and DH). We are hoping that this time we'll get to explore the AKL last year we didn't get to do much as i caught the flu on our cruise the day before we arrived at WDW. We still had a great time though and DH said we could come back this year. I'm glad we did the CP and Osborne lights but missed out date wise on MVMCP and didn't make it to the MK due to sickness but will make it up this year.
