Another option is to take the bus from AKL to Disney Studios and then take the boat to EPCOT.

^ That is what we would do...

IMO, whatever your travel plans at Disney, it's always a better choice to take the boat instead of a bus when the choice exists.

And you might have to stand in the heat for a long time waiting for a boat. IMHO, you're going to be in for sweltering heat no matter what you do.

Just to throw out a suggestion no one has made yet. Take a cab from the Animal Kingdom Lodge to the Beach Club and then walk from there.

This is the BEST suggestion. That's what I would do.
