Can our 3 yr old son enter the park with a ticket of a friend who is a 10 year old girl? They have our ticket, we have theirs. Before I get flamed, I am NOT trying to cheat Disney and really am just trying to avoid having to claim a lost ticket and getting another since in a couple weeks we will see our friends again and get the tickets exchanged.

Does their age and gender pop up on a screen where they will know right away that we don't have the correct ticket?

Our other option is to delay the trip till later in the week and get our friends to fed ex the ticket to us.

hmm that stinks.
i know they do the finger print thing now..but i cant remember if they were doing it to kids that young

if you try it and they same something explain it to them...i bet they would understand
i had a problem with my ticket once and they were really nice about it.
i had put the strip of my ticket up againt my room keys strip (duh) and they de magnitized them selves they just gave me a new ticket.

its worth a try i think.

They did not finger scan DD5 in October--just waved her through the turnstyle as soon as her ticket cleared. I think you're probably fine. They didn't ever look at the back of her ticket for a signature, either, even though she had proudly signed it!

One year my wife lost her annual pass, we believe to a pickpocket.

Guest services were able to look her up on their computer, cancel the original and issue a duplicate.

I would imagine they could issue a duplicate to your daughter too.

BTW, my wife's AP was found, discarded at the AK turnsiles the next day.

They keep a record of AP's not regular tickets AFAIK.

I don't think kids are required to do the finger scan so I'm sure you'll be fine. Age and gender don't show up on the screen.

It sounds like there was just a mix up of tickets and people went home with the wrong tickets. Not a big deal.

My DS10 had to do the finger scan on our trip earlier this month. DD7 did not.
My guess is, the 10 year old girl's pass has a finger scan attached to it. :confused3

That is my experience and my guess as well. I would think that two children ages 3 - 9 would have no problem swapping passes whatsoever since they are excluded from having to do the finger scan (many do it just because everyone else is doing it but it has no effect). I'm not sure what would happen if a child tried to use an adult ticket. I would assume the turnstile would wait for the appropriate finger to be placed on the scanner but don't know that for sure.

If you still have your tickets I think they can pull the others up with no problem as long as they were all purchased together.

It only took us about 3 minutes to get another AP for DD on our last trip.

I think that would be a problem as the 10 year old would have an adult ticket which has a biometric scan attached to it.

Can you have the other family fax you a copy of the back of the ticket? I know it is recommended to have a copy of your ticket in case you lose it because in that case Disney can replace the ticket. It should work the same way here-they will have the information from the first ticket and could cancel and reissue.

1. The ticket for the teny year old girl is an Age 10+ ticket which requires a finger scan. An age 3-9 ticket does not. The greeter at the turnstile would wonder (out loud) why you are using an adult ticket for a child.

2. As long as your family's tickets were bought on the same transaction you can go to any park (including water park and TTC) ticket window or Guest Relations location and they will be able to cancel the missing ticket and replace it on the spot.

Thanks for the answers. We had gone with this family and did mix up the kids tickets. We have Florida Seasonal pass and they have regular AP. We've lost our passes before, so know we can go and get them replaced. But last time we did that, it took quite a while to get the new ones made cause of the line. We want to just go up for the day once this week and don't want to waste time getting a new ticket printed.
