DH will happen to be in Orlando on other business the weekend F&WF opens. I wanted to send him to Epcot to try to snag me a 20th anniversary Dooney & Bourke bag. Is there anything like the shopper's passes (which I understand are long gone) that would allow him to simply go in, grab the bag, and get out without purchasing an admission ticket?

Sorry, don't have an answer for you. But, that's so sad that the shopper's passes are gone - I used them a couple of times. I suppose it was another case of 'a few bad apples'.

would they be available at DTD (or more properly now DS)?

Second the Disney Merchandise number. They are great. At least call to see if they truly do or do not offer the shopper pass. Also, they may offer them at the F&W running expo (which is where my mom got my Avengers D&B). Or ask a trusted local (Ahem!) who will be going to either the W&D marathon expo or Epcot. But I would expect it would be easier for him to buy it at the runners Expo at Wild World of Sports. The parking is free, and I would recommend getting there at the earliest day/time of the expo. It gets pretty crowded pretty fast.

As, you don't have to be a runner, or a registered runner or get tickets if you are going to the expo. I've never had to pay, and I've stopped running for a while (I go to expo with my mom who is a runner). There are turnstiles there, but don't let that freak your DH out.

Wine and Dine Expo isn't until November... OP's DH will be there for F&W's opening weekend: 9/25.

I second the shop app. I loaded it last night and am very excited that I can get park merchandise at home.

You can download the new app for Disney merchandise and order it. Or have him visit the two outlet stores called Disney warehouse on i4. They have all the Disney park stuff in there at 50 to 70 off.

Thanks everyone.

I was aware of those avenues but, according to the merchandising announcement made on the parks blog, these items will only be available in park at the Festival Center and F&WF merchandise locations. They won't be available online, via the app, or from Disney Merchandising (which I get...if these bags were available, they'd be scooped up day 1 and all be on eBay for twice the price).

I'll check into some of the personal shopper services and see if they can procure it cheaper than a one day ticket would cost DH.
