The kids are doing the Treasure Cruise at 9:30am leaving from the Marina near the Yacht Club. I want to activate their tickets before they leave for the cruise so that I can get Soarin FP's for later that morning once they return. Can we enter via the World Showcase entrance at 9:00am and then turn around and leave w/handstamp if needed, put them on the cruise at 9:30am and then once they leave head over to get a Soarin' FP?

I wasn't sure if you could use the WS entrance before WS opens at 11:00a? I also wasnt' sure if I would have enough time to do all of that. I would be at the WS entrance before 9:00a and walk through as soon as the opened the gates and then walk back to the Yacht Club Marina.

Advice/Suggestions?

Yes you may use the World Showcase (International Gateway) entrance to Epcot when Future World opens.

It is a good idea to lose yourself in the crowd before doing an about face and immediately exiting the turnstiles to take the kids to the cruise.

No hand stamps anymore. If you come back quickly through the turnstile may stop you. Just explain that you activated the tickets and now have to go to Yacht club and you shouldn't have a problem.

1) Not going to be able to do it.
2) You will insert ticket and also do a finger scan.
3) The finger scans will not be the same as the kids' scans.

Not sure I understand your points Rusty. I will take the kids through the turnstile 1st thing in the morning and then leave so their finger scans should work? I will return with the kids tickets (while kids on cruise) to get FP's. I want to make sure the tickets are activated for that day before they leave for the cruise. Disney won't know that the kids left for the cruise and I'm getting a FP without them (or will they). Is this breaking the rules? I was just trying to maximize time by having the FP ready for when they return.

Thanks to the others for the tips. Just want to make sure we can do this and aren’t breaking any rules.

I understand and you're not breaking any rules because your children will be entering the park with you. I personally see nothing wrong with what you're wanting to do.

With what you described it would work -- as long as the WS entrance is open at that hour. Don't forget, they open the FW (main) entrance long before they open the WS entrance!

The WS entrance opens at the same time as the FW entrance.

I think this sounds like a very efficient plan. I don't see why it wouldn't work. Also, I have to mention that one of the best times to be in WS is during those 2 hours. You can come in thru the IG at 9:00, and they have the bridge to the left towards France blocked off. UK and Canada, however, are so quiet and peaceful with no one around. When I'm staying at BCV, I love to come over with my coffee and sit on a bench by Rose and Crown between 9:00-11:00am. So next time you see a middle-aged woman sitting on a bench there as you rush by towards Soarin', say "Hi!" I'm just soaking in the WS ambiance.

yes, the WS entrance opens the same time as the FW entrance.

yes, you could go thru the turnstiles, do the fingerscans and then turn right back around again and leave. if asked/stopped, brief explanation that you wanted to be sure and activate their passes, but now have to get kids to cruise. - will not be an issue.

yes, this is totally allowable and you are not cheating the system. you are actually very smart and using it to the best of it's potential. (if lots of other vacationers were so wise, they might enjoy their vacations more.)

You misunderstood the post.

To OP-sounds like a good plan to me.
