Also posted this on another thread, thought I'd do it here, too.

I'm brand new (today) here, and I'm wondering what "ENT rate" means and how I get it. Does it have anything to do with the Entertainment books? I'm staying at the HoJo June 17-23 and read that someone got an ENT rate of $49, which beats my $67.15 from mousesavers.com.

Can anyone help me out? TIA.

Christine,

You answered your own question. ;)

Ent rate is the rate with an entertainment book. The nice thing about that rate is even if you don't have an ent. book, you can still call to see if the rate is available for your dates and get it reserved, then just pick up a book before your stay.

I got the $49 ENT rate at HoJo for the first weekend in June. Its for the DL view room.

The Ent book gives you an 800 # to call and a website but I called the HOJO toll free number and booked directly through them. It's a great deal!

Does it have to be the Orange County Entertainment book or can it be one from my hometown. Is it a coupon specifically for HoJo Anaheim or any HoJo? Or do the Entertainment books still have that plastic card that used to come with the book? Sorry for my ignorance, but I'm so glad I found this board!! :cool1:

It can be any book. The coupons in each book are for that area, but the card (yes there is still a plastic card in the inside front cover) is for all hotels that participate.

Also doesn't have to be a book anymore. You can purchase a monthly online subscription, I think for $3.95. You'll get a coupon to print out proving your membership.
