I am in the middle of trying to plan our trip just the days. I was wondering if 4 days is enough to spend at DL? We are also planning to go to Universal Studios. How many days there? We have The week of July 30th 2011 for DS 8th birthday.

Im guessing by DL you mean Disney Land, but in this case Im guessing it should be DW which is Disney World in Florida.

4 days is a great amount of time to spend in the parks, but you will still be tight on time. There are so many things to do in WDW that you could spend two full days at Magic Kingdom alone and still not see everything. If you have kids, I would suggest visiting on of the water parks while you there - since July is VERY hot.

Usually when I go to WDW i also try to visit Universal Studios. Ive already been to the original studios and I dont feel that much has changed there so I usually skip right by it and head for the Island of Adventure park where I find that one day is enough.

I haven't been to DL in a long time, but think 4 days is good. 2 in DL, and 2 in Calif. Adventure.
For Universal in L.A. I have no idea, I've only been to Universal in Orlando which is 2 parks, and may be bigger. Maybe someone will know about the California Universal. I would hazard a guess and say 2 days, if it's 1 park. 1 day to see it all, and 1 day to re-do favs, and see anything you didn't get a chance to the first day.
Sounds like a fun trip.

Yes I meant Disney Land. When We go to WDW we spend 7 to to days. 4 days there isn't nearly enough time. LOL We are going to DL next year. up until Sunday we were going to WDW but since we move to the west coast we decided to try Walt's Park.

I was thinking 2 for Universal Thanks :thumbsup2

Four days is enough time. You will only need one day for Universal Studios as it is much smaller than UO.:goodvibes

4 days at DL and 2 days at Universal will be plenty of time to take it all in. Before buying your tickets, be sure to check out the prices on the Southern California City passes. They are valid for 14 days and include DL, Universal, San Diego Zoo or San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park. We paid 285.00 CAD (they are currently selling for 269 US for adults and 229 for kids 3 to 9) a couple of years ago, They are a fantastic value even if you dont plan on visiting all the parks, sometimes it is actually cheaper than purchasing separately. If you want to view details just got to universalstudioshollywood.com/tickets.html and look under Multi-Park Tickets,

Enjoy your trip...we had a blast, cant wait to go back, but next trip is on Disney Dream March 2011, and a week in Orlando...prob not to WDW, however. Universal, and Sea World, and Busch Grdens this time around I think. This will be my daughters first cruise (grad trip) and first trip to Florida, so we may just cave and at least visit Animal Kingdom tho. Anyway have fun!!

I'm wondering if you meant to post this on the DL board rather than the Canadian board? :confused3

3-4 days is plenty for the 2 DL parks and 1 day for US.
