This week we returned from POFQ. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Mouskeeping left us two very cool towel animals. We were building number #1 second floor, 1216 I believe? It was a corner room right off the elevator. We faced the parking lot, but never heard a peep out of anyone or anything outside.
The pool area was fun, bar is excellent and the food court had a decent selection. The staff, although polite wasn't very speedy with orders. The grounds were well kept and clean. The gift shop had fabulous items and registration was a breeze with a very helpful and friendly CM.
My only distressing moments were when were outside walking in the main court area. The darn black birds were doing fly-bys on people. My friends and I watched one women get swooped upon twice just walking across the main court area. Thought it was a single situation until I had my own 'Jack Sparrow' whisper in my ear.
I almost pulled a neck bone flinching so fast and screaming as this bird came fluttering in my ear.
For the rest of the trip I walked under the awnings of the buildings.
Overall, it was a great stay at POFQ. I unfortunately never used the ferry to DTD. Maybe next time, it looked like great fun.
