engraved bricks

I am not sure where I should post this but I read some where that you could have a special brick engraved at the magic kingdom? I called disney and I spoke to 3 diffrent people and they all said they didn't know anything about that, I am looking for information on how to go about having one done for my dd birthday. If any one know where I can get some information on this please let me know

If I'm correct about what you're referring to, the Walk Around the World bricks are no longer being sold. These are the personalized bricks at the TTC and before the entrance to the Magic Kingdom.

If this isn't what you're talking about, I don't know.

The engraved bricks are all gone I forget when they discontinued it but it was a couple of years ago I think.

I wish they would bring them back- We got one for our honeymoon but now I want to add one for my kids.

They could brick the World Showcase!! What an idea!! It would make a lot of money for them!!

Am I remembering correctly that there was talk at one time about bricking the back entrance to Epcot WS? Or bricking the pathway from Boardwalk area to Epcot back entrance? Or something like that? What WAS that that I'm vaguely recalling??

The UG calls it the P.T. Barnum Memorial Walkway and estimated the brick sales to gross $9.6 million for Disney. That was before the discount, of course. It's a humorous read (p.288 of 2002 guide).
