English Girl in WDW

`So im going on my first WDW trip in October, im an English girl from a rather cold area and im wanting some real advice on what im to expect from the weather when im there. My DH is super pale and has the cutest strawberry blonde hair, so i reckon hes going to look alot like Sebastian if its too warm should we say. We are there from Oct 28 to Nov 11 (2011), will there be rain, heat waves etc? Thanks guys & girls!!

dont know what october is like as we go early september, we normaly get rain as its still hurricane season but definatly hot. make sure your dh wears high spf especially for first few days. evan when its cloudy youd be amazed how much they burn

We've been at that time of year and the weather is great. Usually in the high 70's/low 80's during the day and the 60's at night. When we went in November we had no rain, although it is still technically hurricane season until November 30. You're going at a great time of year because you'll get to see the parks decorated for Halloween and Christmas!

I live 2 hrs from Disney. November is usually dry and on the cooler side. Probably around mid 70's to low 80's most of the day. maybe high 50's to low 60's over night.

Aside from the temperature, you need to remember that the sun is very intense. I would definately spf 40 on exposed skin. Tops of feet, backs of calfs (from reflection off the pavement) and also all the usual places. you should be fine with that. On a patchy cloudy day, it may feel cool or chilly when the sun is behind clouds, and the next second on the hot side when the sun coms out.

The tough thing about the weather in our cold season is that it is almost a guess. the summer half of the year is hot and somewhat humid almost every day. The colder half is unpredictable. You are coming before the real cold comes, so you have a good chance of nice temperate weather.

If you were coming in jan or feb, it could be high of 45 or high of 85 ( we've experienced both).

That's perfect, thank you. Yeah, we booked that time especially so we can see both seasons!! It's our first holiday abroad together, so we thought we'd do everything!!! So excited!!

Thank you, much needed advice, id have definately forgot to do my feet, then end up moaning to my DH the entire time!!lol. Well whatever the weather, guarenteed it will be nicer than anything England has to offer during these months!

Im so excited about our first trip, im so excited ive started work on our next one!!lol. It must be wonderful living so close! Perhaps one day!!

Hi. I live about 50miles south of you on the A1. I can tell you that Florida in October is nothing like Northern England weather!! Like the others have said above: warm, possibility of rain (but sun comes out straight after) and possibly a bit of thunder. Nothing that a rain poncho can't deal with.
