I haven't heard or seen anything recently, but I'll keep my eyes peeled for them! I prefer the Udi's but they don't cover as many allergies and intolerances, so I'd be glad to hear that they are bringing them back as another option because it sure does stink to be used to those and then not have that option anymore!

A chef from POP called me last Friday and said that they usually have the Ener-G now because they've needed them. This is when I was calling about Aug 18-26. I know nothing of any other location. I was pretty excited, as toast and breadsticks (we cut rolls into sticks for him) are some of my 3 year old's favorites!

Awesome! I'm happy with either Ener-G or Udi's since I'm GF but can have eggs, but it's good to hear that Disney is listening. The poor vegan and egg allergy community must have spoken up! Good job! I'd love to see BOTH Ener-G and Udi's around the parks and resorts- so many people have different allergies that I could understand that it would be hard for Disney to keep up, but on that same token, SO.MANY.OF.US have allergies and it's becoming a more recognized need of accommodation.

YAY!!! I'm also glad they're listening. My DD14 can't eat either but my DD12 can eat the Udi's and not the Ener-G but I know that a lot of people could eat the Ener-G and not the Udi's. Those who can eat both typically prefer the Udi's so having both is great.

I agree! I hope they keep both because I personally prefer the Udi's, but think it stinks that there isn't an option for the people who can't have eggs. I think having both would be a great thing!

I was going to call Disney but haven't had time but I did email them from work but got one of those standard replies back so they didn't answer my question. I'm going to try calling tomorrow on my lunch and see if I can get an answer, I really hope it's not a rumor!!!

I wouldn't expect any sort of confirmation, after the big switches in the past year they have been reluctant to commit to ANYTHING. Especially if it isn't date specific. If you are going I would just send the form in to special diets with the note of what you need, and hope it is there.
Even if they do bring them back, there really isn't a guarantee that you will find any specific special item at any specific time and place.
