Well... we're back! Dang - I hate coming home! I'm just miserable for like 3 or 4 days till the "Florida" fades away & the "Jersey" starts coming back. BUT, got another vacation to look forward to in 2 1/2 weeks, so WTH!

On this trip was me, DH, DD14 (b-day was during this trip), DS10, DDBF (suprise!) along with my BF, BFH, BFD10, BFS7. Before leaving, I faxed the RPR front desk 3 weeks before and 3 days before trip to request Tower 1, floor 4 or higher, connecting rooms. Turned down Lowes First Gold upgrade because I like the Park View.
Day of departure... DD is a bit crabby because BF can't go... ha ha ha... so she thinks! DH goes to get her "other" present & picks up BF. When they got back I called DD down and she sees a suitcase, and she's wondering why we got her luggage for her B-day
She sees her BF and oh... it was just priceless!!! What a great birthday present!!! OK - onward....
So, we arrived from Newark, NJ in Orlando at around 4:30 pm. Our limo (Payless Transportation) was not there. No one to meet & greet - shoot! Called - they paged me in the airport, but how are you supposed to hear, let alone understand, that?? The limo got a flat and they dispatched another to us. Waited a total of maybe 20-30 minutes. Not bad. The kids loved it! Anyway, they were very nice and the car was clean. Not bad for $160 r/t + grat. plus got our beer - oops! I mean grocery stop, too!
Skip ahead to check-in... what a breeze! The hooked us up right and gave us Tower 1, 4th Floor, Park view, connecting rooms! Got up to the room and our milk and cookies were actually waiting for us!!!! First time EVER!! Starting off pretty good...
We changed and decided to go to the park, walked about 2/3 there and I forgot DDBF ticket voucher - crap! I RAN aaallllll the way back to the room and then aaaaalllllll the way back to where everyone was waiting. Did I mention it was like 7 gazillion degrees out?? So, I am now crabby and sweaty and thirsty and DARE someone with a look to make a sarcastic comment - no one does. They all admired just how FAST I was.
Go to the turnstile to find out where I get DDBF ticket and she tells me at guest services, so I go there. (we have AP, so I'm totally clueless on this) One person working... line a mile long. It's like 7:30 pm now! Go to the ticket window and he tells me to go to the e-ticket window - but, I say, the girl told me they're closed! Shouldn't be, he says. DO YOU THINK I'D GO CHECK?? Nooooooo - I go back to guest services so I can get super-agitated because the line is never moving. I go back to the other guy and ask again and he says the e-ticket things should all be open (he was nice, though). So, I go check and oh yeah, they're open!
So, made it to the studios and went on a couple rides, then back to the hotel so the kiddies could swim. Next day - DD 14th Birthday!
