End of Line for Elsa & Anna

No. Anybody entering the line needs a FP. I assume the PP won't have trouble with a 12 year old entering the line alone, but technically they have to be 14 to do an attraction unescorted.

I thought it was 7?

How far in advance do AP holders get oppty to reserve FP? I considered buying AP and wondered what future opportunity for DD to meet Elsa and Anna

You know, I could be wrong on that. Maybe it's under 7 that has to be with someone 14 or over. Maybe it's just 14 to get in the gate alone.

That is correct. 14 to get through the main gate. After that 7 to experience an attraction alone.

Bumping original question - do they cut off the standby lines at the closing time or earlier (so A&E get a break)? If we can't find a FP we wondered if we should get in line at 2:30 or 3 pm with 5pm cutoff.

I read somewhere that they cut it off based on the current posted wait time. So if the time is 120 minutes then they will close the line two hours before the end time.

So what if I can only get 2 FP+s for DD9 and DD6. Can they go together without me? I'm afraid we won't be able to get 3.

Ugh, this is ridiculous.

Your 9 year old should be allowed to, but your 6 year old would not be allowed to without someone older than 14 with her.

We had luck last week with the late afternoon strategy. Got in line at 6:20 with a 40 minute posted wait, showing aurora and a crown. Waited about 30 minutes and Anna and Elsa were the surprise princesses. I'm pretty sure that after 5 the times are pretty inflated. Shortly before we went in it was posted at 120 minutes which scared us off. Take a look at the queue after 5 (when fast pass is done) and if the line fills the part inside the building but does not spill to the outside, it's probably a 30-40 minute actual wait.

By some miracle, last night I got one fastpass for my daughter for Anna and Elsa for next week on the day we are going to MK. She is 9 almost 10 but I am not sure she will go in there by herself. With a fastpass, does anyone know how long she would have to wait inside by herself? I am hoping she will go for it as she loves Frozen!! Thanks!

I don't think they'll allow her in line by herself. I read somewhere kids had to be accompanied by an adult, which means you need two FPs. Did you try copying her FP to you?

I think someone else posted this but you may be able to copy a fast pass(es) for yourself from one of your daughters.

What week are you going and which day are you looking for.

Lots of people here are on all the time and could possibly alert you to if they see any availability

FPs can only be copied if there are indeed openings. Copying might better help you find those openings in what is a fairly glitchy and colvoluted system, but the openings have to be there.

Thanks for all the help! I did try the copy and it substitutes something else for Anna and Elsa since there are no spots open. I am looking at Tues the 20th at around 1. Thanks!

It seems that if you have to accompany children under a certain age then they shouldn't be able to get a single FP+ or there sued be a pop up saying the parent needs one too. The child's age is attached to the ticket. Anyway, my 12 y/o DD looks 14 or 15 so they probably won't ask.

Also if I have to pay FULL ADULT admission for kids over 10 they should have the same privileges as other adults.

that's a great point about paying full price!!

Other threads are pointing out that you must be 14 to enter the park ALONE or act as the "accompanying adult." They are also saying that 7 years old is the minimum age to enter a queue alone. Under 7 is the time you need that "accompanying adult." (So 9 or 10 is ok to see A&E alone, technically).

So the consensus seems to be that while their scheduled time ends at 5:00 and you can't book a FP after then you could possibly still see them later? For other character M&G it is my experience the CM handling the character will cut off the line when the line reaches the number that can be seen within the allotted time, which is going to be well before the end of the time period. But it sounds like they are handling this one different. Is that because the Fairy Tale Hall M&G continues well past 5:00, just with different princesses listed?

Which makes me wonder, is that why A&E are still appearing, even after 5:00? Or is there something there that informs guests in line that the Princesses listed at the time they get in the stand by line may change before your turn comes?

Yeah, I think that copy deal only works when you do it straight away, as soon as you book the 1 you want to copy. Otherwise, the slots are gone. The deal is the system only lets in 4 or so per slot. If you can get 1 to take then it's usually pretty easy to copy it to a few more, with only a 5 or 10 min time adjustment, small enough that everyone can still enter at once. But you won't be able to go back and copy it later because everything will be gone.
