End of April start of May

Im all booked, all excited!

Does anybody have any experience of the weather round about the end of april start of may? Im after some warmth!

Weather is just about perfect, lovely and warm without the oppressive summer heat. Might reach the mid 80s perhaps but shouldn't be humid and unbearable like it is in July/August.

A great time to go.

Thank you! Im after that type of weather that makes me glad to get into an air conditioned shop now and then!

-- there is something so wonderful about wandering around in the heat and then getting on pirates of the Caribbean and being greeted by that wonderful AC!

We went end April / beginning May 2008 and it was lovely. Plenty warm enough without being too hot, sticky etc. Would go again at this time every year if I could.

We always go at this exact time, you'll love it. The heat still hits you when you step out of the airport, of course, but not crazy hot. And the bonus is, low to moderate crowd levels.

Not sure when Spring Break is this year but thats the only thing that seems to bring the crowd levels up at this time of year. Plus there always seems to be more of the student groups wandering around in their matching t-shirts.
Weather wise though is pretty much perfect for hanging around the pool or walking round the parks. Good choice for a time to go.

It's never too early to pack - what possible need could you have for your holiday clothes in the UK at the moment

We went May 9th last year and it was glorious weather. Bright sun, and only 1 hour of rain the entire 2 weeks.

This is our favourite time of year to go. Nice and warm, but the humidity hasn't set in yet.

We went in August a couple of years ago, for our wedding anniversary, and DH really struggled with the heat and humidity. Really made us remember why we tend to go in April/May or October.

Does anyone know where I can find the American School Holidays are for next April/May time.

We're thinking about booking for then and would prefer to avoid huge crowds & their holidays.

we are going 29th April from Glasgow-Gatwick to Orlando

we prefer to go at this time of year......like everyone else has said the weather is just about perfect, and if you time it right you miss the hugs crowds around spring break.....this usually ends the first weekend we arrive (normally around the 18th/19th April)

we are planning on going a week later this year (22nd april to 8th may).....
