End of a flight schedule

For those that track flight costs.... do you happen to know if the last day of released flight schedules are usually significantly more? I’m looking to book my flights for our February trip and the last day of jet blue’s schedule happens to be one of our travel days. The odd thing I’m seeing is it happens to jump $60 a ticket in price. Every other day including weekends for at least a week is $60 less. I was wondering if the last day of a released shedule is typically more and maybe I should wait for them to release further dates? Curious if anyone has had anything helpful? It’s the week leading into Presidents’ Day but I wouldn’t think Wednesday would see such a jump. TIA!

Does Jetblue fill up flights that far out? Also can you get a refund if the price comes down?

No clue if the last day is just more or not as I never book that far out ahead of time for travel. I mean you are like 240 days from the flight when I think most studies say roughly 30 to 120 days out is when you are going to find the best prices.

I don’t think their flights fill up that far out but I do think they sell a limited number of “cheaper” tix before the price goes up but I could be wrong.

It likely costs more due to the holiday. Jet Blue typically charges more around holidays, even things like MLK, Jr. weekend, and Presidents' Day has a pretty big affect on leisure flights.

I've seen Jet Blue prices rise over time, so personally I'd book now if the price was one I could accept and the date & time worked for me. Or just use anither airline, perhaps.
