End of 50th?

Can you tell me when the very last day of the 50th celebration is? I am wondering when they will begin to take down the decorations. I had heard the party was to last 18 months, but am not sure of that. Anyone know?

The most recent rumors are that it will end the first week of Oct, when the halloween decorations go up. I've heard conflicting reports on the fireworks and other 50th entertainment. I heard the fireworks will go until the end of the year or into Jan/Feb next year. Another reliable source has said they are putting together a halloween fireworks display.

So, the answer is, NO ONE KNOWS! Disney can't seem to make up their mind and give a straight answer. I would plan on going before the end of Sept if you want to see the 50th.

From what I have seen/read:
The 50th decorations will be taken down the first week of October to make way for Christmas. The fireworks and parade will remain at least until Mid-November, when Christmas begins.

I have to agree with the other. I have seen Oct 2nd posted in a few places.
