Enchanted Tales w/Belle vs Beauty & the Beast - Live

So - how similar are these? I understand that Enchanted Tales is more of a enhanced meet&greet whereas the Live Show is more elaborate.

We'll be doing the Akershus breakfast, so DD will have a chance (I'm assuming) to meet Belle.

If we're planning on the live show and Akershus, is Enchanted Tales worth it to keep the our FP? Or do we have Belle saturation and it would make sense to FP for another MK ride?

B&B Live is a mini Broadway musical show (live singing by Belle and Gaston) of the full B&B story.
Guests sit in a ramped open-air (under a roof) theater auditorium.
30 minutes long, and a great show!


Enchanted Tales is an intimate (20-30 guests) interactive show (anyone and everyone who wants to is given props and can be part of the show.)
A beautiful Belle (actress) and an in-the-room Lumiere candlestick (an absolutely stunning animatronic) are your hosts.
It is a wonderful experience!

Akershus is just a quick photo, not a real M&G with Belle. It's very quick. Enchanted Tales is very cute and my kids loved being in the show (DS played Beast and got to dance with Belle). The show at DHS is just that, a show.

Depends on how much you like Belle I travel with my best friend often, and it's simply not enough Belle for her taste. I'd definitely recommend them all! ETWB is really, really cute. I just sit back and watch and I really enjoy it

You should do both ETWB and BATB. Very different, both very good.

I don't think it will be "Belle overload" at all. As mentioned, they are very different experiences. They are also in different parks, as is Akershus.

I agree, do both. I'm 35 and the best thing I did was be one of Belle's guards at enchanted Tales. It is awesome. The HS show is great as well. Do both

Both are fun, but if I'm comparing the two Enchanted Tales wins by a mile. The entire experience from beginning to end is one of the coolest and most intimate at Disney. Every kid gets a chance to participate in the story. The mirror effect to transport to the castle is pretty outstanding too.

I got to be the wardrobe at enchanted tales last year! It was a ton of fun. It's been awhile since I've seen Beauty and the Beast Live, but it's pretty different than Enchanted Tales, but just as good. I'd go to both.

Belle saturation? Is there such a thing? LOL! No, I would try to get both ETWB, and BATB in when you are at DHS< and then a photo with Belle at Akershus. Personally, I love that little stage show, and try to see it every trip. My DGD loved it as a child.

Akershus is a lovely breakfast too, and is our favorite Princess meal.

Yes, there could be Belle saturation, if someone in your group isn't all that into it. I'm a take it or leave it guy, I enjoy it but it's not a total must for me. But I'd still do both shows and usually do (never done Akershus, we don't eat in restaurants).

Robo's description is perfect. B&B Live is a shortened stage show, a la going to a Broadway musical. Enchanted is an interactive and small setting, with a meet and greet at the end. My DD9 loves it. My two boys are embarrassed by it, but always have fun. You really can't compare them.

Thank you all for your information! Enchanted Tales definitely sounds like a not-to-be-missed experience - I didn't realize what an intimate setting it was. And stage shows are always fun. I think we'll wind up taking in all of them!
