Ok I doubt this will be successful but its worth asking! My almost 5 yr old DD has become OBSESSED with the movie Enchanted and the Princess Giselle...she saw it on the Disney channel about a month ago and fell in love. We bought the soundtrack and have every song memorized. :rolleyes1

Anyway, when we planned this Disney trip she was enthralled with Tangled, it had just come out, etc. But we just surprised her with the trip and her first question was "will I meet Giselle there??" Ha, not likely!!

But I am wondering if anyone has ever seen Enchanted merchandise anywhere in the parks? There is NOTHING on the Disney store websites...

Thanks for any suggestions!

We haven't seen anything at WDW or DLR or on the ship either. Which is sad, because we love "Enchanted" too.

I don't believe there is anything Enchanted-related in the parks anymore. Even when the movie was released in theaters and on DVD/Video, Giselle never did meet and greets. She rode in a "pre-parade"- which was just Giselle being driven down the parade route in a carraige. Blink and you'd have missed it entirely!

I've never seen anything at WDW which makes me sad. Enchanted turned out to be one of my favorite movies ever and I didn't think it was going to be good! I would love to "meet" Giselle in one of the parks.

Having Giselle be a character would be odd, but fine. Having her as a *princess*, which is what most people want, would be absolutely silly, since she's a mortal businesswoman, not a princess.

Princess Nancy, however, from Enchanted would make sense! (but no one ever wants poor Nancy for a meet/greet)...

By chance we got to see her in the pre-parade back when it was released (she wore the wedding dress that she never got married in LOL), but we hadn't seen the movie and the main thing I focused on was the CM who rolled along the poop-bucket, and how that CM had fake roses that they would pull out from the rolling bucket and wave around whenever she noticed someone had noticed her. :)

There was an article somewhere, stating that Disney considered making Giselle an official princess but did not, since they would have to pay Amy Adams a licensing fee for featuring her likeness. That is one of the reasons why they don't feature Giselle in dolls, and most likely as a character in the park.

I think if you google the article it will come up.
