ENABLER ALERT: Do not walk... RUN to your nearest Big Lots

Sorry, I missed this....I was at school w/ DS9 & than DS13 had a game... injurt to boot... good thing he has 4 days off before the next practice and 2.5weeks before his next game... got a bruised tailbone...fast break, lay up, and a TANK hit him, to the ground he went w/ a BANG! OMG! I did the concerned mom gasp and watched for him to get up... I didn't go down to check on him because you know how uncool that would be at Middle School level. He tried to play the 2nd game, lasted about 3 minutes and coach pulled him, she only put him in because he was determined to be there for the team...

So glad for you and your DS that you were able to contain yourself and NOT run out onto the court! It is SO HARD to just sit when they are hurt! I have embarrassed DS more than once doing something like that.... and he is only in 6th grade! But I am getting better about remembering to stay cool and look COOL! Hope he feels better soon.

pjlla - which Big Lots was this at? That's a great deal, but the closest one to me (Nashua) is 1/2 hour away.

This was Goffstown, NH. I would be tempted to head to Nashua, but I am SO crazy busy with life in general right now, I don't have time for what would be AT LEAST an 90 minute round trip visit to that BL. I suppose I could call them .....NOPE... I don't have time!! And our Goffstown store is almost 30 minutes away from home for me.... but I am in Goffstown about 6 days a week because of swim and tennis, so no biggie to stop in.

Sorry again that most of you aren't having any luck. I would have been excited to see the Cricut carts! I only have one of the ones that was mentioned.... I might have been tempted to buy myself a pre-Christmas gift (even though I am getting 4 carts for Christmas that I already bought for myself and gave to DM and DH to "give" me for Christmas )..........P

Yikes! I fight that mother urge and DS is only 3. lol Hope he is feeling better soon!

I think sometimes that happens. Our East Coast friends had their hands on some MS punches before they were seen anywhere here.

I stopped by my local BL and horrors of horrors - the scrapbook section was filled up with vacuum cleaners I wondered around then finally found it - reduced to an area about 1/2 the size of the previous, and nothing of any interest.

Oh well, it was on my way.

Morning all! I am going to try and find the time to swing in to my BL once again this morning (on our way to DD's swim meet) to see if there is any more paper. Sorry no one else has had any good luck. And TRULY... if anyone is interested in any of the paper I bought, I would be happy to share! I could never use all of this! Maybe we should set up a small swap for after the New Year?? That might be fun.

Nothing left at all. But I did notice in today's flier they are advertising the Cricut carts for $30. Doesn't seem like such a great deal, since I got four for $28.xx online at Joanne's after the holiday. But I might HAVE to stop and check what they have when I go to the grocery store later this week!...............P

i will have to try mine --- This paper sounds perfect for my scrapbooking ladies with special needs at work --- they love when i bring them paper and stickers, and it works out if i can finds deals
