We need to leave before my mom does, on tuesday 11.28. She'll be there through at least thursday, and I would love for her to be able to see the candlelight processional thing at epcott, because she LOVES all things christmas, and I think would just really really like it. I saw a post somewhere saying it is really hard to get in without a "dinner package." She has no such package and will be alone. She is in no way a wallflower, but if there is a group of people, or another solo diner who'd like to meet up to have a meal and see the show, I think it would be great, and that she would enjoy it a heck of a lot more than if she tried to figure out how to get this package, and then went alone. (if that is even possible at this late date).

Thanks !

If she is adventureous she may try booking the dinner package at the Japanese Steakhouse (no good with names). She will be seated at a table with others and in this setting usually the other guests at the table will talk with you and she may just met some new interesting people.

Not necessarily hard to get in, just a long wait in line, as people without the package tend to line up early to get a seat. Now, depending on the night, she may have no problem. Also, she can see the show just by standing behind the seating area, no problem, although sitting would be more comfortable.

I don't know of an empty seat, but did you try posting or searching on the Disney Restaurants section of DisBoards? It may be worth a try.
