Employee Discounts

Does anyone know if part time employees of the Disney Store get discounts on rooms or merchandise at WDW? If so, how much and when/where. I'm thinking about taking a part time (10-25 hours/week) job and if there are good perks, I'l LOVE to work for DISNEY!

You do get lots of the same perks...I was a casual CM for a few years. I purchased park tickets at the same discount, the room discounts are the same I think but only valid certain times of the year. Yet your store discount changes according to the length of time you have been there..But you can order things from the parks or catalog and still get your same discount.

Discount for tickets, for store purchases, or room rates??? Or all the above?
Here's the scoop..Tickets the discount is better than DC but not as good as years ago when I bought them but as a CM you would get free entry into the parks and 4 days free for a guest.

Store purchases 20% to start 35% after 3 years, though they have been know to have specials. This past christmas 20% CM got 30% I think for a short period of time.

Room rates run 50% most times of the year (remember that from about Oct. through Dec. CM's can't take time off). I hear Jan/Feb it goes to about 60%. There are CM on the CM boards that are stating that there discounts on rooms currently aren't much better than guests.

You won't get rich (pay tends to be min.) but if your addicted to could help defray your current spending habits....
