It's definitely not something I'll be copying, but I completely understand that she wants to look totally different from her character.

I love it and think it looks great on her!! Good for her for having the courage to go for a dramatically different look and not letting stylists or agents tell her how she "should" look with a cookie cutter style - long flowing hair on actresses is quite the norm and everyone pretty much looks the same. She definately has the features to pull off this new pixie cut.

It is simply a matter of personal preference. I think women look better with longer hair.

I agree. Maybe it's because my mother kept my hair short when I was a child and I hated it, but I think almost all women look better with long hair. I think it looks more feminine.

To be able to pull a haircut off like that you need to have a pretty feminine face. Emma does. That is why I think it looks good on her. Others maybe not so much.
