EMM in Nov and Dec?

Does anyone have any insider Intel on whether this will happen?

As of right now (Sept 23), the wdw site lists EMM through Oct, and then in Jan-Feb they have a "special ticketed event" 7:45-9:00 a couple days each week....

I asked a CM via the online chat feature on the Disney website last week, since a friend of mine is going late November and really wants to book this. I was told that they just haven't released the dates yet, no plans to discontinue it at this time. I think it's ridiculous that it's taking them this long to release the dates since guests are already past their FP+ 60 day mark, dining has already been reserved and, at least in my friend's case, they're pretty much locked into the days they've chosen for the parks because of that.
