So I saw that EMM for MK just opened up for our last day there. We planned on going to Epcot that day but EMM has me intrigued. What is the crowd like? What has your personal experience been? And did you feel like it was worth it?

Crowds are low.

I wouldn't do it, because I can ride those few attractions during regular and EMH hours without the high extra charge.
(And, I certainly don't need the extra buffet!)

Others don't mind the cost and they enjoy the experience.

I am very much a fan, we did it twice last year, and we are APs/frequent visitors.

People on here have thrown out estimates that they sell 200-300 tics, which feels about right to me. It will not feel crowded at all. It's very intimate and a lot of fun.

Another bonus is being in the park when it opens, ahead of the rope drop crowd. When the rope drop crowd gets there we'll quickly scoot off to another land, hit some rides when waits are still super low, then back for breakfast closer to 10.

I lost count of how many times we rode 7DMT in November, probably 6-7 times.

7DMT was down the first time we went, so they us use the FP entrance on an unlimited basis through noon, which worked out just fine for us (in some ways it was better than riding 6 times over and over!).

Happy to answer any questions.

It was one of our very favorite events during our September trip. We rode 7D mine train 5 times, Peter Pan and Winnie the Pooh one time each, and got great pics in front of the castle with no one on the background. The breakfast at Pinocchios was really good, too. I would definitely purchase tickets for this event again. Crowds were very low, too.

We did it in September and it was our favorite morning of our whole trip. We felt like we had Fantasyland all to ourselves. We rode SDMT 9 times, PP 6 times and WTP 6 times and they also had the Carousel open. We did the rides until 9am and then headed over to Pinocchio's for breakfast and that was surprisingly awesome as well. The buffet was nice and very quiet, with no crowds at all. We are waiting for September to become available so we can book it again.

We haven't even attended it yet and I already feel like it's worth it. But we don't get to the World very often these days, we have to cram all of MK into one non-EMH day this trip, and we love to reride our favorites. EMM is going to get us a huge start on the day with no fastpasses getting used up in FL, plus we hope to hit Buzz and/or Space Mtn before breakfast.

Loved the one at DHS, I probably would not repeat the one at MK.

We attended EMM at MK last August. We got there about 15 minutes late. We found the crowds to be quite low (and from what I have read, this is by design, they only sell a very limited number of tickets for the events). My wife and son were able to ride 7DMT about 7 times in the hour that we had. I rode 7DMT about 4 times, and also rode Pooh (twice) and Peter Pan (also twice) within an hour.

We then had breakfast toward the end of the event, as the crowds were starting to build up, and after breakfast, got out of Fantasy Land, and headed into Liberty Square, and on toward Frontier Land, areas that hadn't gotten super busy yet.

My family all agreed that the event was a good value, considering the number of times you are able to ride 7DMT with pretty much no wait, not to mention Pooh, and Pan. Normally, you are fortunate if you get to ride 7D and Pan once in a day without a long wait. We enjoyed the event enough last year to book it again for this coming August!

IMHO, it depends on your feeling about Peter Pan and Winnie the Pooh. We did last Nov with a 4 year old and it was amazing. All 4 rides walk on the entire time. When park opened we were first in line for princess hall. Makes fastpass and rest of day planning much easier. Never waited more than 18 minutes the entire day.

That being said, if you had no intention of riding Peter Pan and or Winnie, it probably is a waste. When I was there we bumped into a very frustrated woman who just waited 65 minutes for Peter Pan. She did not know the ride and was very disappointed. The same probably holds true for EMM money. 7DMT will appeal to most demographics. The other 2 may or may not be your cup of tea.

I reserved an EMM for my trip in April.

My reasons were:
  1. Last trip to MK, the queue for 7DMT never seemed to be less than an hour (usually closer to 2 hours).
  2. Same thing with Peter Pan; the queue was always near the 90-minute mark.
  3. It's actually happening on my BIRTHDAY!!!

We loved it. Rode Mine a train 10 times and Peter Pan and Pooh once each. We literally would get off Mine Train and immediately get back on the next train. Crowds are very sparse.

We liked it so much that I've booked it for our upcoming August trip again.

We did it at the end of January. Like others have said, you really do feel like you have Fantasyland to yourself - they clearly sell very few tickets. HOWEVER...7DMT was down when we went. They let us use our wristbands to use the FP+ line until noon, but that meant we had to skip other attractions we had planned on riding. It makes me sad when I read that people rode 7DMT 10 times...over the course of the morning we rode 4 times. I wouldn't do it again unless I saw that 7DMT was consistently open during EMM (it seems like it's down a lot). I would also not schedule FPs until 11:30 or so in case it was down so I could change my plans easier.

Just booked EMM for September 3. It's our departure day. I am trying to get on as many favourite rides as possible before our evening flight back home. Hope no rides will be down that morning!

I can write more later, but we did it last week and we loved it. Even my wife who is always asking "what did this cost?" was totally on board with the value.

My kids loved it too (4.5 and 2.5 years old). We made them do mine train once (they were terrified) but they loved the other rides. My wife and I took turns doing non stop mine train while the other was with the kids on other rides. There was essentially zero line for mine train.

Well worth it for us. Would definitely do it again.

We too did EMM last week and absolutely loved it. It got 3 high value FP's out of the way as well. We rode mine train 10 times in a row. I was nauseous the rest of the morning lol! Up til about 0830, we maybe had to wait for one train max, but after 0830, each car was only about half full. We then did PP twice before the EMM hour was up.
We then did 2 or 3 other rides while the crowds were still low, then headed back for breakfast at 0950 (EMM breakfast "closes" at 10:00). The food was surprisingly good, hot. And well stocked, even at 10:00!
Very happy!

Anomamatt, I think we were on the same mine train car as you and your kids. We felt so bad for you cuz we could tell your sweet kids were just terrified!! Even coming off the train they were still screaming (but still very cute ). We hope they come to enjoy mine train soon!! We were there not long ago, and did the same thing (tried out a few faster rides with them), and they screamed a ton, but now (thankfully!) they love those rides!

Haha, sorry for their screams! We thought it would be good to see if they liked it (my youngest is a dare devil but just made the 38" cutoff), but... I think we scarred them. Every single ride after they were terrified of -- for the rest of the trip! Even 'living the land' caused tears boarding the boats. And we had Frozen Ever After FPs twice and while they loved FEA pre-mine train, they refused to ride post-mine train. Oops.

They LOVED the carousel and peter pan and pooh. My wife and I took turns riding mine train while my kids rode the carousel with the other parent non-stop.

I just saw EMM is available for our pre-cruise May trip... My wife declared that a stress-free, non-MK trip, but when I told her there was another EMM, she now wants to go. And my wife is a total scrooge when it comes to these "extras". Haha. So that tells anyone on the fence...
