EMHs for August 2006

I've done a bit of research to try and find the actual EMHs for our trip in late August but I've got different times from different websites. Does anyone know the most accurate to go with this (is it disney's site) Also can the scheduled times change at the last minute (the day before for example)? When we went in '03 I seem to remember that each day one of the them parks opened early for resort guests but now it seems like that is not the case.

Hello! Welcome to the DIS!
We are going in August so I have been watching the EMHs. With this system there is not always a park open early. For example, August 7 has no early entry park at all. Last summer was the first time they had EMH and they were still changing the days/parks two weeks prior. I don't know if there will be less of that since they have a year of experience now. The official Disney site is always best when it comes to EMH days/times.

That's right... I would go with what is on the official Disney website, but keep checking back becuase EMH do change frequently.

The old "early entry" program used to have a park open early each morning. EMH, which began in early 2005, changed that. Some parks are open early some days and some parks are open late some days for WDW resort guests. More details here:

So are you saying that even though they are posted on the Disney wesbite now for August and Sept, they may change that? AAAGGHHH How do I do my planning now and ADR's if the week or 2 before we leave, the EMH could change? Please explain, I am starting to worry!

Yes, what I'm saying is that it's possible that they will change, but if they do it will probably be more than a week before you leave.

Disney is always tweaking park hours and EMH in response to expected crowd levels. Since hours are published six months in advance there are no guarantees that they will not change in that six month window!

Thanks Bob, I feel a little better (not much, just a little). I am kidding at the extent that I was worried, I will just review my plan at the beginning of August and adjust parks if required. As for ADR's there are only a few I would be upset at having to adjust so if I have to lose them, it's ok.

BTW, if you use TGM, I am guessing his infor would chage as it got closer to my dates too, huh?
