We are going to Disney in Orlando and staying off property through timeshare exchange. We could not get one on property. My parents are staying on property and may not do the EMH's. If my 2 daughter were able to to be part of their room at no extra charge and they did not want to do the EMH's, would that give 4 passes in general? Or does the passes specify adult or child? How does it exactly work. Does each person requesting EMH's have to show a room key? In other words, if two adult and two children are trying to do EMH's do four keys need to be shown? Also, does it say on the key if it is an adult or child? In other words, if my two children were added (keep in mind that 1 of them is only 1 years old and likely to stay back with my mother) then that would give us 4 passes (2 adults and 2 children or is it 4 passes in general?) If the resort key has to be shown for each person, does the resort key only specify that it is for a person regardless of a child or adult or does each key show that it is either for a child or adult? If this is the case, then one adult could not be used for my 1 year old's key? I am confused about if the resort key represents a person regardless if it is a child or adult or if it specifies between children and adults so that an adult could not go on a child's key.

Does anyone know? I do not think my mom is going to be up to doing the EMH's. She has a bad back. I am hoping that if it gives us 4 passes with the children added then my 4 year old and my husband and I could do it with my dad so he does not miss out on the evening EMH's.

It depends. At Disney Studios, they were scanning the room key through a reader before they issued you your wrist band. It would show up by your name and adult or child. And you wouldn't be allowed to use that room ID again.

Now if your parents won't need their room keys and they want to give them to you to use for EMH, I guess you'd have room IDs. But if they need their room keys for charging or to get into their room while you have them, they would be out of luck.

Yes, each person must present a valid room ID. They could ask to verify the name on the room ID with your driver's license. They did that at the MK in June.
