I have yet another question... when the parks open early for resort guests, do they do the whole park-opening ceremony at that time or only when the general public is allowed into the park?

They do the opening ceremony when the general public is allowed in.
If your in the park you can hear it on the speakers.

Well darn, I was planning to get there early for EMH and see the opening.... that's okay, at least I know now. I can just "rearrange" AGAIN!! LOL Eventually I will finally get it right.
