Just wondering if there is something floating around that tells you the best strategy for using the EMH morning and night. We are doing most of the morning ones and possibly 2 nights.

Thanks :flower:

We did evening EMH for AK and it was wonderful! However, we avoided the other evening EMHs. Our strategy was that we actually chose to go to the evening EMH park the following morning (at regular opening time). We did this for MK and Epcot. So many people had gone to EMH the previous night that we found the park pretty quiet for a couple of hours, and got lots done.

hmmmm I was hoping somewhere there were strategies listed for each park for each morning and night EMH's...... anybody????? I want to make the most of my time :sunny:

Do you mean kinda like Touringplans dotcom?

It shows EMH hours, and gives its opinion on which parks should be vistited or avoided each day.

I'm not looking to avoid them though, I want to figure out how to plan them to make the most of my time...especially for the morning ones. Like for MK what should be my plan of attack when I arrive an hour early....get fast passes for one section first then move on to a different location of the park to ride without fast passes..etc...
:confused3

Tell us who is in your party, that would help. We travel with 2 adults and a 16 year old. If you have young kids, you wouldn't do what I would suggest.

Just got back and did EMH in Epcot. I will always try something once. But I have to say we were very dissapointed. No fast passes for soarin!!!! It was soooo crowded it dosen't matter what you plan would be everyone else is there. Unless you are going when it is not crowded avoid them!!!! I was hoping for the best but found the worst. We could only do 3 things none of the main attractions. :sad2:

Well I'm going end of Sept. so I'm hoping for smaller crowds. If anything I'm hoping to grab some fast passes, especially in the morning. I have 2 kiddos age 6 & 7.
:sunny:

Does anyone in your group plan on doing the thrill rides? That will definitely impact your strategy. There have been a bunch of threads about EMH strategies at the different parks... we found the suggestions to be very helpful on our last trip.

Yes we will be wanting to do thrill rides and kiddy rides.....I looked for some threads for best strategies but can't seem to find one...

I would love to go that time of year! Being a teacher makes that impossible :sad2:

These threads might give you some more direction/inspiration...

My two cents now: there are two camps, the EMH embracers and the EMH avoiders. We are fence-sitters :earsboy: having done one morning EMH (Epcot) and one evening (AK), and then two regular openings. Whatever park we went to, we had almost NO waits in lines when we went last week because we definitely took advantage of timing and Fastpasses.

We've done park openings (including EMH) at MK, MGM, and Epcot and I'd be happy to share our specific strategies with you. Our longest wait for anything was 15 minutes this time around.

No problem! Let me know if you need any other info... :wave2:
