Can't figure out whether to dodge the EMH or embrace it, LOL - help me! IN the past, we always avoided the park with early entry - or left it as soon as the early entry time was up. And we used to love the E-Ride nights that are now no more... sniff sniff. :sad1: Not sure WHAT to think of the EMH stuff, and we will be at WDW in just 2 weeks! I don't know how to plan - yikes! :scared1:

EMH perk and use it,then when crowds start to build we have early lunch and go to another park. :goodvibes

What about evening extra hours? Are those good? Or too filled with tired cranky folks?

I can seethe point about the morning being good - lots more folks are night owls on vacation than early birds, LOL. But the ride options for EMH in the a.m. are more limited.

Maybe a good plan would be to go to one park that ISN'T EMH in the am, then take a mid-day break, swim, and come back to the park ready to ride into the EMH at night. Or likewise, to do the EMH in the am, then head to a non-evening EMH park for the rest of the day. Can't see our crew managing to burn the candle at both ends though - (i.e., do morning EMH, take a rest, then do ANOTHER EMH at night at another park ... really burning candle at both ends, unles you plan to do NUTHIN' the next day, LOL!)

What about the water parks - how are their EMH evening hours? DH and I have often said we wished the water parks were open later - evening is a GREAT time to be there. But if it were an EMH night - would it be worse? Would MORE people come to it, just because it was an extra-hours night? IS perhaps the BEST day to go - the day AFTER the evening EMH?

AAUGHHH! Too many choices!

I'm with you. In the past, I have always avoided the EMH parks, but on this next trip, I will be hitting at least 1 park during EMH and I am curious as to how it will be.

Many of us go to Morning EMH
which is virtually aways less crowded than other times
(and sometimes "Park HOP" if the EMH park gets busy later).
Some of us like the evening EMH at certain parks.
Some of us avoid EMH parks.

Remember that NOBODY can tell you what WILL happen with ATTENDANCE on any given date, any more than they can predict the WEATHER (which WILL affect the attendance much more than EMH.)

EMH is FREE.
I go.
If I need to, I can always go elsewhere.

In the past we avoided EMH but when we went this past Easter we did EMH every morning and two at night.

We did AK for the night and it was great. EMH was from 8-11 and we arrived about 7 and rode EE twice with only about a ten minute wait. We also did the EMH at night at TL and it was great. Very few people but it was a little chilly once the sun started to set. In the summer I think it would be perfect.

The mornings were great. Very little waits until about 11 and then it would start to pick up. Since we did EMH every morning we didn't do much at night because we were getting up between 5:30 and 6. (MK opened at 7 every morning for EMH) We were usually in bed by 10.

we're going attend all the evening emhs, theres more rides and less hot!

and i love the feeling of being at the parks at night, the lights are so pretty

but we are planning to avoid all morning emhs because we dont intend to wake up that early in the morning (because of all the evening emhs), i dont see myself doing both morning and evening emhs tho

but we are planning to do opening at the parks! ;)

i guess it really depends how your group wants to handle the parks! :thumbsup2

We really didn't enjoy the evening EMH at MK twice it was so crowded you could'nt move.At MGM we did have a good time ,at AK it was ok but just not much to do that you have not already did unless you arrive late in the day. At Epcot still large numbers and if you have been touring most of the day we were just to worn down to make the most of it.I think you could enjoy both just need to plan well and park hop.The exception to that would be MK I have seen many other posts saying it is a waste of time to do evening EMH there. Our visits are in first part of December, crowd patterns may be different on when you are at WDW.Plus I should add this is our experience and you should treat my comments in that sense. Many may give you other tips and advice. It may boil down to trying each and see how it works for you.No matter you have a magical safe trip. :goodvibes Danny
