EMH Strategy Question

I posted earlier that they had added more EMH days for May. What do you do when they have scheduled an EMH morning and evening at the same park on the same day? Have they done this before? For instance, on May 1, MGM has an EMH morning and evening. May 3 Epcot has an EMH morning and evening. May 4 MK has an EMH morning and evening. That means if normal hours are 9-9 at MK, they will be open from 8-12? How do you strategize this? It will be super crowded! Do you skip the EMH entirely or do you do one or the other (morning/evening) and then hop? :confused3

I'd go first thing in the a.m., and leave by 10 or 11, or skip it entirely. It'll be so crowded, with EMH in the a.m. and p.m. Some will come for one or the other, others will come for both. Sounds likes a recipe for disaster!

When did they redo schedule and where can i see a copy of the new may hours? The last schedule i saw did not have two emh hours in the same park on the same day. I stay on site so emh works for me .

Go to Disney's website and go to the Extra Magic Hours page. They didn't update it on each park's regular calendar yet.

Go to disneyworld's website, click on calendar, click on extra magic hours, scroll down to May, and you will see the added days. The other websites (wdwinfo, allearsnet, intercot) haven't updated their sites yet.

WOW MarriedMaryLander we posted exactly the same info at the same time. We must be on the same brain wave! :cheer2:

Yikes. Can that be right? EMH both morning and evening at MK on May 4th?
I was planning on going that day.

I think I might call disney and verify these new dates. It sounds crazy. I just don't know how to restrategize. :confused3 How can they have EMH morning and evening at the same park on the same day. They must be predicting huge crowds which scares me. This is our first trip with our kids, DS5 and DD2, and I thought that first week of may wouldn't be too hectic, but with the celebration, I'm starting to worry. :sad2:

This happened this past Wednesday, and they will do it again next Wednesday. Yes, it means it will be very crowded.

I would go to the morning EMH, hop to another park before noon, and stay away from the evening EMH. Visit the EMH park on the following evening.
