EMH Question with kids?

HELP!!! Im really going back and forth and not sure what to do, we are traveling to WDW for only 2 days and doing MK & MGM on Oct. 12&13. The first day we are scheduled to do WDW its an EMH night, do you think we should do another park that day due to crowds? My kids are 4 & 8, we will be taking a short (2 hrs) break back to POP in afternoon. I dont plan on staying in parks till midnight but maybe 10pm or so till they are too tired to enjoy, just might give us an extra hour so we dont feel rushed. I am wondering if the lines will be a lot longer that time of year and if we should just go to MGM first then MK the next day? Also does anyone feel like they have to do MK first? It just seems like the place to start? Please give me some advice! I cant decide what to do?

Definitely do another park on EMH day. We found on our trip in June that the park with EMH was always very crowded the entire day. I think that is due to the "park hopping" feature being optional on the tickets.

You'll be able to do alot more if you go to the MK on a non-EMH day. Good luck
