EMH Nav’i River Journey Rope Drop

Any advice? Most people will be going to FOP I assume? Thanks in advance!

We did it in November (Thanksgiving week). Rode 3 times before the kids were tired of it! Then headed to Safari and it wasn't even open yet!

Did this on Jan 31. Well, we missed Rope Drop by 20 minutes. Everyone was charging to FOP as we strolled to the River. Five minutes. As we exited the FOP line was 80min. We rode the River again - another 5 min wait. At exit FOP was 150min. River had jumped to a 10 min wait.

If we are planning on rope drop for Navi how early should we get there?

We may have just lucked out but the day we did Na'vi first thing we actually arrived about 10 minutes after EMH was scheduled to open (8:10 I believe). We still walked onto Na'vi and everything but FOP was pretty much a walk on for about an hour and a half.

We walked on it last month while everyone ran to FoP. We really enjoyed it, too!

Just posted this on another thread. This was a non-EMH day:

Just wanted to add, RDing Navi is very easy. We got to the park at 8:20 or 8:25 on a 9 am opening day. Everyone was already waiting on the bridge to Pandora. Navi was a walk on and I think it took 10 minutes to board and complete the ride.

Just checked my timestamp on pictures. We were off the ride at 8:47.
