EMH morning but staying offsite?

We have one day in the parks coming up before a cruise. My kids really want to hit up AK but it is an EMH morning and we are staying offsite. We will have magic bands with tickets linked because we are staying onsite after the cruise. How does a regular opening work on an EMH morning? Do they hold all offsite guests to the side or something? Never done this before and just wondering how it will work.

On site guests get in 1 hour early. They scan their ticket or mb and it lights up green and gives them access to the park. All others just wait at the turnstiles until regular opening hour, then enter.

Usually if your off site you'd want to avoid AM EMH parks, but being that it's AK and if you can't do AK morning a different day, then I'd just go ahead and go. AK takes a little longer than other parks to start getting busy
